General Information
Webster School, one of seven elementary
schools in Lewiston, Idaho, serves students in the northwest portion
of the city. It was constucted almost fifty years ago. Webster School
is located on Normal Hill, a name given to the area because of it's
location to Lewis-Clark State College, formerly called Lewis-Clark
Normal School.
Webster School serves students from
kindergarten through sixth grade. The average enrollment is about
three hundred twenty-five students. The school building has recently
been enlarged. The new addition provided a library, kindergarten
room, a sick room, and new office spaces. Webster is staffed by a
group of excellent teachers and support staff who are dedicated to
the education and well being of the students. Webster has a very
active PTA and enjoys wonderful support from the parents.
